Organized by the European Surfing Federation, the event will bring together more than 60 riders from across Europe, all ready to showcase their best surfing on the iconic left-hand wave of Las Palmeras.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"DIA 8 | SPRING SURFEST LAS AM\u00c9RICAS PRO 2025 | EUROMASTER\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Kt8ZH2PEFgE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"900\">This afternoon, the Competition Department released the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surfscores.com\/ICA\/2025\/euromaster\/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMjU2MjgxMDQwNTU4AAGn34GAcP3LDjdUUZiq_QaFM-nxZizBLy9FL2CB3TSYlRTP4y-hoVsz0GUzOQs_aem__thUY-iB8L2pfPwoKiVGSg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heats<\/a><\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DRusq4gDRC9\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>schedule<\/strong><\/a> for the opening day. Competitors were also informed of several updates compared to previous editions. For 2025, the +35 category has been removed, leaving only two divisions: +40 and +50. Both will crown the new European Masters Champions in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"902\" data-end=\"1197\">Lanzarote surfer <strong data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"940\">Christian Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, Spain\u2019s +40 champion last June in Asturias, arrives as one of the leading contenders for the title. The Canarian rider won the now-discontinued +35 category last year in Las Am\u00e9ricas, where he finished ahead of <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1168\">Dani Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, another key name to follow.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1517\">The Cantabrian surfer, who also finished runner-up at the Spanish Championships this year behind Jim\u00e9nez, returns to his signature event in excellent form.
