On a morning marked by challenging conditions \u2014including a move of the competition to the Piscinas wave\u2014 the top riders on the national scene showcased their best surfing during the opening rounds of the <strong>Spring Surfest Las Am\u00e9ricas Pro 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"DIA 3 | SPRING SURFEST LAS AM\u00c9RICAS PRO | CAMPEONATO DE ESPA\u00d1A OPEN\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AHwLWf_bC1I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The men, who were able to complete the round of 16, were the first to hit the water. Olympic surfer and national title defender <strong>Andy Criere<\/strong> overcame a tough heat (11.83) to secure his spot in the quarterfinals. Current champion <strong>Luc\u00eda Machado<\/strong> posted the highest score of the morning (13.63) in a tightly contested heat where <strong>Carla Morera de la Vall<\/strong> (12.34) also secured her place in the semifinals.
