This Wednesday, November 26, the action in the water begins at the Spring Surfest Las Américas Pro 2025. The Spanish Surf Championship and the Surfing.es PRO and Iberdrola PRO leagues will open the competition with the best riders on the national scene surfing one of the continent’s most iconic waves: the Spanish Left.
The Spanish Surfing Federation recently confirmed the official list of participants for the Spanish Championship, featuring almost the entire elite of national surfing, including the current title defenders: Andy Criere and Lucía Machado.
Additionally, local surfers Matías Hernández, multiple winner of the event, and Dani Toledo have received the two wildcards granted by the Spanish Federation and will take part in the Spanish Surf Championship.
At the same time, the second stop of the national surf leagues—the Surfing.es PRO league and the Iberdrola PRO league—will be held. At Las Palmeras, last year’s winners, Bitor Garitonandia and Daniela Boldini, will be present, along with names such as Conor Donegan, Sean Gunning, Fonso Suárez, Melania Suárez, and Carla Morera de la Vall.
This event would not be possible without the support of institutions such as Turismo de Arona, the Island Council (Cabildo) through Turismo de Tenerife and the Tenerife Awaken Emotions brand, Islas Canarias and the Government of the Canary Islands, as well as brands like Spring Hotels and collaborating companies including Surfactory, Local Motion, Quirónsalud, Papagayo Tenerife and Veinte 04.
The full program of activities and all the latest updates from the Spring Surfest Las Américas Pro are available on the event’s official website (lasamericassurfpro.com) and on its social media channels (@lasamericasurfpro).
